Edo State Police Command has declared Justice Daniel Okungbowa of the Edo State High Court in Benin City missing. The Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), DSP.  Moses Eguavoen told CEOAFRICA news that the Police Command got to know about the missing of Justice Daniel Okungbowa when members of the Nigerian Bar Association had a peaceful protest yesterday insinuating that he must have been kidnapped since they did not know of his   where about.

The PPRO said the Police Command is doing everything possible to find him and he assured the family and the Nigerian Bar Association Edo State branch that the Edo State Police command will leave no stone unturned to find Justice Daniel Okungbowa while urging the members of the public to come up with any useful information as that will lead to get to his where about.

The PPRO concluded that the nature of the case cannot be ascertained by now, because if it was kidnapping, those responsible could have opened a channel of communication. However, such has not been heard since the incident was reported to the police.

While assuring members of the public to go about their normal businesses without fear of any kind, the command promised to unravel the nature of the case soon,
