
The Association of Consecrated Persons under the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan began its National Celebration of Year of Consecrated Life today.
The programme which would run from July 31 to August 2 is expected to commence 4.00pm with the registration of participants and has been slated to hold at Ss. Peter & Paul Major Seminary, Bodija.
Among other activities meant to spice the occasion for today are the supper which would be served 7.30pm. A dose of entertainment will then follow suit by 8.15pm coupled with an address from the Presidents of the association. Participants will then be allowed to observe their night rest by 9.30pm
Archbishop Most Rev. Lele Abegunrin will be playing host to top dignitaries and other eminent personalities from all walks of life
The Year of Consecrated Life was announced by his Holiness, Pope Francis last year and will end officially on February 2, 2016.
Various programmes including seminars, workshops, conferences and liturgical celebrations have all been slated in the Association’s official calendar for the year and they would be taking place locally, nationally and internationally.
