DIPLOMATIC TIES BRING ANGOLA AND BAHRAIN TOGETHER

The Bahrain Kingdom and the Republic of Angola has today established a diplomatic ties, signing at the UN Headquarters, in New York, the relevant legal instruments.

The document was signed by the heads of diplomacy of Angola and Bahrain, Georges Rebelo Chikoty and Khalid Bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, respectively.

CEOAFRICA gathered from the statement of the Angolan Minister, Chikoty that the ties will serve as an important limestone for both countries, considering that the Bahrain have a good knowledge of Angolan history.

George Chikoty also launched that the step will open ways to other actions such as the exchange of visits to the respective countries and signing of cooperation agreement between the ministries, possibly before the Afro-Arab Summit, set for November in Kuwait.
