Nigerian Young Academy NYA holds workshop for young researchers. The workshop which hosted over 50 researchers, started on wednesday and will ending today Friday at National Mathematical Centre NMC,Abuja.

Ceoafrica reporter gathered that the aim of the workshop, is to train young researchers from Nigerian Universities and Research Institute on the following:

1.Good laboratory practice

2.Research proposals and grant writing.

3.Research design for innovation.

4.Research fellowship and scholarship oppportunities.

5.Plagarism in scientific writing.

6.Patenting and intellectual property rights.

7.Oral and poster presentation of scientific data.

Research is pivotal to the development of any nation. Nigerian Young Academy was inaugurated on 30th of August 2010, by the Nigerian Academy of Science.
