The selection of those that will benefit from the employment would be equal across the nine states of the region.

“We will give equal number to the nine states of Niger Delta. Once you have secondary school certificate, you will be selected as one of the lucky ones to be part.

“We expect that all the youth groups should work with our Director of Youth in the ministry,’’ Orubebe said.

It was also gathered that the centre is would be a Public-Private Partnership and will focus on oil and gas as well as Information Communication Technology (ICT), while the other centres in the eight states would deal with maritime and agriculture training.
