La Bella Casa; a Gauteng property development and sanitation company in South-Africa is looking forward to business opportunities in the Department of Trade and Industry's (dti) upcoming Outward Selling and Investment Mission (OSIM) to Ghana and Nigeria.
According to the Director of La Bella Casa, Belinda Moleko, the mission will create opportunities to look for further investments in Ghana and Nigeria.
Taking place from 17 to 21 August, the OSIM aims to assist South African companies to create market penetration for South African value-added products and services in Ghana and Nigeria and the rest of Africa.
According to the Director of La Bella Casa, Belinda Moleko, the mission will create opportunities to look for further investments in Ghana and Nigeria.
Moleko's company has already established presence in Congo and Tanzania.
She said her company, which was established in 2008, has had successes on previous missions organised by the dti, which led to it launching four housing projects in Tanzania, Congo-Brazzaville, Ghana and Nigeria.
Moleko adds that the company was formed after the realisation of a need for better township housing to cater for the influx of economic migrants that migrate from rural areas to cities in search for better employment opportunities.
La Bella Casa was the first to successfully build cluster houses in Tembisa, Gauteng.
"The support and platforms that government has created for businesspeople as well as the exposure to the continent is enormous. We as Africans must share knowledge and skills in order to make our continent better," said Moleko.
She said opportunities are endless in the continent and that one has to learn to make use of them.
Sectors targeted for the mission are agriculture and agro-processing, build environment professionals, infrastructure, furniture and wood processing energy and mining.
The programme for the OSIM includes trade and investment seminars, mini exhibitions, business-to-business meetings and site visits.
The OSIM will be led by dti Deputy Minister Mzwandile Masina.
