The Angolan Senior Female National Basketball team has on Sunday beaten the host team, Mozambique, in the final of the African Nations Cup (Female Afro basket 2013).

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered that the Angolan ladies’ first continental conquest was achieved in Bamako, Mali, in the year 2011, in which Angola beat Senegal in the final of the African Nations Cup.

However, this is said to the Angolan squad’s second participation in an international competition since last year.
