Tanzania: Models Set For Diva's Night

The forthcoming Diva’s night has been receiving entries in tons as Zanzibar Fashion House (FZH) in collaboration with Black Fox Modeling Agency has casted models.

The show, which aims to promote Zanzibar fashion and tradition at international level, will take place at Kendwa Rock in the Isles on Friday.

FZH Chief Executive Officer Farhiya Mayow told reporters after the casting at Paparazzi Lounge, Masaki in the city at the weekend that many fashion designers will showcase their products.

She added that since Zanzibar is popular in tourism, FZH has decided to organise the show to expose the fashion sector, which is also part of art and culture.

"We've managed to get five models in the casting, who will showcase different designed outfits at the show," Mayow said.

She noted that for many years her company has been organising the fashion show in the Isles it has attracted many people and has managed to change people's perception of the fashion industry.

The five models from Black Fox Modeling Company chosen for the Diva's Night show are Dinah David, Jessy Richard, Glory Gideon, Melody Miranda and Jean Butanga. Black Fox Modeling Company Managing Director Atu Mynah said her company has got the best and competent models for the show.

Atu, who has been modeling for many years in Europe, said under her company she has been training models in the country for a long time.

"My models are extremely ready for the gala and are still trained so that they can produce the best Diva's Night show and satisfy guests who will attend it," she said.

One of the designers who will showcase their products, Annette Ngongi under her Seghito Design Company, promised to display the best outfits at the show.

"I have created the best designs for the Diva Night's gala and I promise you it will be the best show ever to happen in the country; trust me," she said.
