Mrs. Florence Abiola Ajimobi, the Oyo State Governor’s wife has ventured on the issue of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Gambian and Nigeria in the area of tourism, poverty alleviation and women development.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered that Mrs. Ajimobi has towards this end held talks with the Gambia’s Vice President and Minister of Women Affair, Dr. Isatou Njie-Saidy demonstrating that Oyo State desire to establish fruitful working relations with the Gambia.

Mrs. Ajimobi speaking at the end of the meeting also asserted that the new relationship will aim at further cementing the bilateral cooperation between Gambia and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

She however described the discussion as fruitful, stressing that Oyo State Government will start to document their discussion and subsequently invite the Gambia to Nigeria for the legislation of the intended partnership.
