Hervé Nguebo seems to be carving a niche for himself courtesy of his soft layer melodies of jazz.

His flagship song; Essoka, is an inspiration coming from traditional songs and rhythms of the MBO peoples where he originates. With the release of his album "Another part of me", he keeps attracting more music lovers.

A student of late Jeannot Hen's, the artist first follows the footsteps of his mentor before responding to the call of the heart for a musical style that is a real tribute to the master. Composed, performed and produced entirely in Douala, "Essoka," attests to the talent of a mature, sensitive and accomplished artist.

It is around an intimate music, sensitive and mature, that he composed this song. The youths adopted this song that became even more popular during this holidays "I can listen to this song all day long without getting bored" says Dorine Ngniwet, student at the University of Dschang. Whether in the streets, nightclubs, or at friend's party the song is everywhere. "I never fail to put this song when I entertain at parties" explains Joel Nitcheu, animator.
