United State-based Stanford University is partnering the MasterCard Foundation towards financing Sub-Sahara African students to pursue their undergraduate studies.

Meanwhile, Irene Ibidapo, Admissions Director for Africa at Stanford University, is already visiting Lagos between 30 September to October 3, 2013 to meet with students, parents and school administrators to discuss life at Stanford University, the admission process and financial aid.

Stanford University, one of the world’s leading research and teaching institutions, supports the learning and living pursuits of nearly 7000 undergraduate students and 8900 graduate students on its 8,200 acre campus located in Northern California.

The university offers world-renown faculty, small classes, with more than 75 percent of its undergraduate courses having 15 or fewer students in them, and a student-to-faculty ratio of 5:1.

It also offers more than 70 areas of study, numerous research opportunities and a thriving campus community.
