Oran, a city in Algeria has been elected as the host city of the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games in 2021 at the General Assembly of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (ICMG) held Thursday in Pescara, Italy.

Oran, which was competing with the Tunisian city of Sfax, has received 51 votes against 17 for Sfax.
