FG LAUNCHES GOODLUCK JONATHAN EMPOWERMENT SCHEME

The Goodluck Jonathan Empowerment Scheme (GoJES), a youth empowerment scheme which aim to create more jobs for youth in the country has been launched in Abuja.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered from the statement of the Chairman and National Coordinator of the scheme, Sylvester Odion that the scheme was put together for entrepreneurial training and business funding among young Nigerians within the age of 18 to 40 years and to turn out a minimum of 60 of them every month.

He further explained that GoJES is a unique ICT-powered youth entrepreneurship training and credit-funding programme laid out in a reality show format to guarantee popularity and participation.

He asserted however, that the GoJES would produce many young entrepreneurs in proof of effectiveness of the adopted mode of youth empowerment thereby giving a robust sense of acceptance to the younger generation by establishment of a successor generation.
