
the people of Igbomina in the Diaspora operating under the group, Igbomina Community of North America (ICNA), has concluded plans to launch a mobile clinic project for communities in Igbomina land. This was part of the decisions reached at the second conference of the body held in Atlanta Georgia, Unites States recently, during which the president of the organisation, Bode Ojeleye, asserted that the organisation is dedicated to improving the lives of the people of Igbomina land. Ojeleye said one of the areas that the group thinks the Kwara State government has done a great job and may need a helping hand is in the area of healthcare delivery. Towards this end, the group is planning to launch a mobile clinic project that would cater for the currently underserved communities in Igbomina by providing a first line medical care service to the people. He enunciated the organisation’s main objectives to include socio-economic development of Igbomina-land and empowerment of the people by helping in the areas where government needs to be supported in serving the people.
