US President, Barack Obama
In what could be characterised as a repraisal attack, U.S government has approved the expulsion of three Venezuelan diplomats.
Just like what President Nicolas Maduro did to three U.S diplomats he expelled yesterday, the American government ordered that the expelled Venezuelan diplomats should leave U.S.A within 48 hours.
The affected diplomats are Calixto Ortega Rios, Monica Alejandra Sanchez Morales Second Secretary at the Washington embassy, and Marisol Gutierrez de Almeida Consul at the Houston consulate.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, on Tuesday, accused the US diplomats of plotting to sabotage the economy.
He said he had evidence they took part in a power-grid sabotage in September and had bribed firms to cut production.
He gave the three - charge d'affaires Kelly Keiderling, David Moo and Elizabeth Hoffman - 48 hours to leave, saying: "Yankees, go home!"
However, the US State Department rejected the allegations.
