
The Prime Minister of Ethopia, Hailemariam Desalegn has been confirmed to speak at the Ethopia Summit to be held on October 28th and 29th 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel in Addis Ababa.
In a press release relayed to CEOAFRICA by organisers of the Ethopia Summit, PM Desalegn is to open The Economist Events' Ethiopia Summit under the theme "Driving continued growth".
The summit is expected to bring together more than 150 of the country's leading policy-makers and business leaders with international executives interested in expanding in Ethiopia to explore opportunities and tackle challenges bothering on Ethiopia's future growth prospects, the sustainability of the state-led development model among other economic related issues.
Other speakers and panelists expected to grace the event are , Minister and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister; HE Dr Arkebe Oqubay, British Permanent Representative to the African Union and UN Economic Commission for Africa; Greg Dorey, Chief Executive Officer, Ethiopian Airlines; Tewolde GebreMariam, , Country Representative, Ethiopia and Representative to the African Union, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Haddis Tadesse, Chief Executive Officer, Pittards; Reg Hankey, Managing Director, Meta Abo Brewery Share Company, Diageo; Francis Agbonlahor among other relevant stakeholders.
