Remco Building Systems has pushed back the frontiers of its business clout in Africa as it broke the 100,000m2 barrier in the African continent.

This was made known in a press release distributed by the African Press Organisation in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia.

This feat was achieved with an order of four buildings in Ethiopia. Having acquired a total area of around 18,000 square metres for a pioneering multinational, the company broke through the milestone of 100,000 m² of commercial premises on the African continent.

The Dutch construction company has completed around twenty projects for major multinational and local companies in Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Senegal, Rwanda and Ethiopia.

The Managing Director of Remco Building Systems, Jan van Vulpen, stated that the company hopes to exceed the 200,000 square metres barrier in Africa by 2020.

“Due to our broad internationally-minded approach, we are in an excellent position to achieve further growth over the next few years.

"With large projects in Cameroon and Morocco on our radar, we expect to have passed the barrier of 200,000 square metres in Africa well within the next five years”. He noted.
