Feyi Agagu Among Survivors of Plane Crash

The son of the late former governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Agagu survived the fatal  plane crash that happened at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport earlier today.

A source claimed that Feyi Agagu was among four people that survived the incident, along with Gbenga Obasanjo, son of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo. Medical personnel are working to save the lives of the survivors. Agagu’s wife was said to have survived the crash because she left for Ondo ahead of the family members.

The casket of Agagu remained intact, but it cannot be opened after all efforts by the rescue teams. It has now been moved to the Air force base close to the Airport.

One of the victims of the plane crash is the boss of the popular casket company in Lagos, MIC Caskets, Mr  Okusanya.

Meanwhile, the Ondo state government has expressed shock about the incident which claims close to sixteen lives.

The statement which was signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Ondo State Governor, Eni Akinsola, said more information is being awaited to actually confirm the list of those involved.

“Information available indicates that there were casualties and a few survivors of this unfortunate crash. We are however still expecting more information.

“This is an unfortunate disaster in the life of our dear State. We can only pray that God will visit the State with mercy and give us all the strength to bear these unfortunate losses,” the statement said.

The State Government assured that more information will be released as events unfolds.
