Murder accused Sindisiwe Manqele's behaviour changed from one of remorse to one of "extreme anger" when hip-hop artist Nkululeko "Flabba" Habedi's wife arrived at the scene.

Manqele, who was Habedi's girlfriend, is accused of his murder.

Thapelo Sello told the High Court in Johannesburg, sitting in the Randburg Magistrate's Court, that prior to the arrival of Habedi's estranged wife, Manqele had been crying. She had also tried to perform CPR and was pleading for Habedi to return to life.

Sello, who was the second witness to take to the stand on Tuesday, claims to have been present on the day the couple argued.

"Her behaviour changed in the presence of the deceased's wife. She was suddenly angry and swearing. Her behaviour drastically changed from remorse to one of extreme anger," said Sello, adding that she acted like she was demon possessed.

The judge asked Sello to explain what the swear words were.

"She said, 'You are not the fucking wife. What are you doing here? You are going through a divorce'," said Sello.

Manqele's lawyer, Norman Makhubele, questioned why this evidence was not previously raised by Sello or the other two witnesses who had testified.

"I cannot testify on their behalf. I saw what I saw," said Sello.

Makhubele accused him of trying to give evidence through "the backdoor".

Witnesses who have testified thus far claimed that the couple had been arguing after Manqele had earlier seen Habedi talk to a woman at a nightclub in Sandton.

Manqele has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge.

She claimed to have acted in self-defence after she was attacked by Habedi at his home in Alexandra on March 9.
