Aregbesola to Inaugurate Mechatronics institute

Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, will today Thursday, September 10, inaugurate the Bola Ige Mechatronics Institute, at the late Attorney General of the Federation Justice Bola Ige’s town, Esa-Oke, Osun State.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the BIMI Committee, Idia Babalola said the institute was created to improve the skills of auto technicians. Babalola made this statement on Wednesday added that the potential beneficiaries would be automobile technicians who needed further training in new techniques of motor vehicle repairs.

The institute, which is located within the campus of the Osun State College of Technology, Esa- Oke, is a project embarked upon by the Osun State Investment Company Limited, Osogbo.

Part of the statement read, “The institute houses latest state-of-the-art equipment and tools to provide training for auto technicians all over the country.  It was funded by the National Automotive Design and Development Council with Bank of Industry serving as the fund manager.

“The institute would provide job opportunities for the citizenry and make Osun State the destination point for motor vehicles’ repair in Nigeria.”
