University of Ibadan declared to have released the post-UTME result conducted at the weekend for all applicants who made the university their first and second choice of institution in the last UTME examination.
According to the result, 7,064 candidates out of the 7,767 invited for the exercise sat for it while 703 were absent from the exercise.
It also revealed that two candidates of medicine and surgery scored 83 percent ahead of the rest 7,062 who sat for the examination while 3,746 (i.e. 53% of the population) scored 50 percent and above and the rest 3,318 candidates scored below 50 percent.
The results also indicated that one candidate of educational management scored 15percent in a statement by the University’s Director of Public Communication, Mr Olatunji Oladejo.
Meanwhile, the exercise which took place on Saturday, 28 September, 2013, was successful as candidates have commended the exercise.
