Delta State Chapter of PDP Welcomes DPP Chieftain Ogboru Into the Party

The number of Peoples Democratic Party members increased again as the chieftain of Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) in Delta State decamped to the ruling party.

CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the recent decampee is Julius Ogboru, the elder brother to the DPP governorship candidate in Delta State, Great Ogboru.

Chief Julius, while speaking at the ceremony organized to officially welcome him to the party, said that he is happy to have decamped to PDP which is a living party, from DPP which he described as a dead party, promising to mobilise people and work for the growth and victory of PDP in future elections, starting with the forthcoming Delta Central Senatorial Bye Election.

Present at the ceremony were Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Kenneth Okpala, PDP Chairman at the Ethiope east council area, Dr Kings Okpako and leaders of PDP in Ethiope east Bernard Edewor, and many others.
