The CBA Africa Concours d’Elegance due to the terrorist attack at the Westage Mall has been postponed to November 17th at the Nairobi Racecourse.
CEOAFRICA news desk also gathered that the Kenya motor Sports Federation (KMSF) has as a result of the shifting approved November 1st as the new closing date for the event’s entries.
However, the Classic car and motorcycle sale is said to be open to machines made in 1988, or earlier regardless of their condition and that the sales gives the owners of unwanted cars and bikes the opportunity to offer them to the motoring enthusiasts who throng the Nairobi Racecourse during the Concours day.
Marzio Krayos is said would be contesting the classic rally car class in the 1974 Ferrari 308 GT4 which he will be driving together with Renzo Bernard in the Kenya Airways Safari Classic.
Among the listed rivals include a 1972 Mercedes 450 SL entered and sponsored by DT Dobie and Aslam Khan’s 1968 Porsche 911, a 1972 Datsun 240Z entered by the Liquid Africa Group, another car to compete in both the Concours and the Classic Safari rally.
