Out of favour Super Eagles midfielder, Lukman Haruna, has continued his impressive form in the Ukrainian League when he netted again for Dynamo Kyiv in their 9-1 defeat of Metalurh Donetsk yesterday.

The midfielder, who capped the late Yemi Tella-tutored U-17 team that won the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup in South Korea, scored a brilliant goal after 67 minutes following an intelligent pass from teammate, Jeremain Jens as the competition entered match day 12.

Haruna’s goal which was Dynamo Kyiv’s sixth of the day helped the club thrashed Metalurh Donetsk comprehensively at the NSK Olimpijs’kyj (Kyiv).

Haruna, who replaced Portuguese midfielder, Miguel Veloso in the 54 minutes of the encounter, has netted three goals in 11 games for the Kyiv side.

His compatriot, Brown Ideye did not play in Sunday’s game following the red card he picked up in last week’s draw at Vorksla.

Lukman Haruna featured for the Super Eagles at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
