Governor Peter Obi and the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh, led in the ongoing flag-off of APGA governorship campaign towards the November 16 Anambra State gubernatorial election.

The flag-off also saw the public presentation of the All Progressive Grand Alliance gubernatorial candidate in the person of Chief Willie Obiano in a very grand style and also the extolling of the achievement of Governor Peter Obi tenure.

Meanwhile, the Paramount Ruler of Onitsha and the custodian of the largest commercial city in West Africa, Igwe Nnanyelugo Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe had earlier, endorsed Chief Willie Obiano, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

He expressed satisfaction that the loud clamour of his people for equity and fairness in the affairs of Anambra State had begun to receive the desired attention, pointing out that the choice of Obiano was appropriate as the candidate has a very impressive background.

However, the party at the ongoing flag-off pledged to continue to revitalize Anambra State, stressing that the past leaders under other parties had done lots of damages which APGA intend to correct.
