A 34-years-old man, Henry Okoro, who allegedly killed his wife, Amaka has been remanded in prison custody.

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered according to the report that the suspect of the incident which happened at the Gbagada area of Lagos State, had inflicted injuries on the wife and subsequently killing her for her inability to bear him child.

The report said that Okoro had been married for some years without having any child with late Amaka who was said to have helped secure the accommodation where they lived.

Amaka was also said to have helped her husband in getting a job, and had bought the car which both of them were driving.

The deceased however was said to have always suffered cruel beatings from her husband for her inability to bear a child despite all her effort to make the man happy.
