Police Parades Man Who Killed The Husband Of His Lover in Jos

In Jos, the capital of Plateau State, CEOAFRICA gathered that the state Police Command has paraded a 25-year-old farmer suspected to have killed one Nanbol, the husband of his secret lover.

The states Commissioner of Police, Mr Chris Olakpe, while parading Samson Nanbul, along with his lover, Mrs Yakbyen Nanbol, said the suspect committed the offence in Lantang North Local Government Area on September 13, 2013.

He hope the prosecution of the suspect would serve as deterrent to others of his kind who can’t control their libido.

Admitting that he committed the crime, Samson said he was prompted to kill the deceased by his lover, Yakbyen, who happened to be the deceased’s wife.

 “She compelled me to kill her husband so that she could marry me.’’

He confirmed that he had enjoyed a secret affair for some time with Yakbyen, but that the woman, at a point, suggested the need to get rid of her husband so as to have a smoother affair.

Samson said that the decreased, a bricklayer, was his friend, explaining that he butchered him on his return from a business trip to Port-Harcourt.

“I paid the deceased a visit on his return and stabbed him with a knife,’’ he explained.

Our source also revealed that the head of the deceased was later cut off by Samson.

Yakbyen also disclosed that she had love affair with Samson and she was the one that suggested that the victim be killed.
