Aftermath of All Progressives Congress  governorship campaign flag off in Onitsha, Anambra State, the traditional ruler of the town, Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe has expressed his displeasure over the rally which coincided with the Ofala festival.

The monarch said it was very disrespectful for a political party to fix its rally the same day when the Ofala festival was rounded up and expressed his furry by stricking his symbol of tradition three times.

Obi of Onitsha said he was surprised that a true Igbo son would allow his party to fix rally in Onitsha the same day the Obi of Onitsha was performing Ofala festival.

The monarch called on the people of the state to continue to respect traditional institution, adding that no politician would try such a thing in APC- controlled state.
