THE NYSC BATCH C' AWARDEES POSING WITH DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF OYO STATE
Governor Ajimobi has presented Award of Honour to 12 Batch C’ NYSC members as a token of commendation for their exceptional and laudable contributions to the state in their one year service.
The Award was presented in three categories; the overall best, the best four and then the eight others.
A female Corps member, Taiwo Temitope Mary who emerged the overall winner in the award did not hesitate to give all glory to God, stating that she would remain grateful to God for the honour as there are many other exceptional and enterprising characters she worked with who also merit the commendation.
She further highlighted that the basic thing that singled her out as the overall winner in the award was the number of projects she executed during her service period and the fact that she was able to identify and meet some needs.
She recounted that in addition to the projects she carried out, she was able to organized Competitions for 15 Secondary Schools in Oyo State, Renovate a School administrative block, donated 40 classroom chairs as well as organized vocational training in schools.
She also revealed that all her projects were accomplished through the resources sourced for through proposals to public and private sponsors which also came both in cash and in kind.
Temitope who acknowledged that her NYSC page has just ended also noted that she is trusting God to build a career in human resources management as there is every need to embrace the new chapter that has just opened.
