Etubom Cobham who is 87 years old was taken by gunmen who invaded his CreekTown home at about 8 pm took him away through a waiting boat to an unknown destination by three gun men.

According to sources at the community, the suspected kidnappers ferried the man away in a speed boat which they have prepared, although nobody was killed but another person was nearly kidnapped by the same hoodlums.

The kidnappers are yet to make any demands perhaps waiting for the import of their action to spread round Calabar which is already preparing for the 2013 Obudu International Mountain Race

When CEOAFRICA.com contacted the Police Public Relation Officer (ASP) Bassey Hogan, he confirmed the kidnap and said investigation is ongoing to recover the victim unhurt, and to unravel the perpetuators of the crime.
