From a notorious British bad boy to priesthood?

Jude Law's new photos of him dressed as the pope dropped online on Tuesday January 12 and fans haven't stop asking if he's heading to the church.

However, the photos were from the actor's upcoming series, 'The Young Pope' which were taken in Venice, Italy.

The 43-year-old actor donned the traditional pope garments while filming his latest role as the fictional Pope Pius XIII. Jude was seen chatting and sharing some laughs with the crew in between takes.

Reports say Jude‘s been filming the Paolo Sorrentino-directed series over the past few months in the European city. Actress, Diane Keaton is also set to star in the HBO series and plays a nun.

The show will be eight episodes and is set to premiere later this year!
