CEOAFRICA news desk gathered that Toyota, the bestselling car in the US is recalling 885,000 vehicles to fix a problem that could cause a water leak from the air conditioning unit.

The models that are being recalled are Camry, Camry Hybrid, Avalon, Avalon Hybrid, and Venza made in 2012-13.

According to the report, water could leak into the airbag control module, causing a short circuit and triggering a warning light and could become disabled or inadvertently deploy and then in limited cases the power steering function could be disabled.

Meanwhile a report from a Toyota spokesman said the company had received reports of two injuries due to the issue, though there had been no reports of any vehicle crash.
