CEOAFRICA gathered that Christoph Franz, the Chief Executive Officer of the German based Lufthansa Airline said it is seeking a viable Nigerian partner as it aims to increase air coverage of Nigeria.

According to source, Franz, whose airline has partnership agreement with Egypt, South African and Ethiopian airlines confirmed that the airline flies to Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, but regrets that the airline does not have a local partner in Nigeria.

He has however said the airline is open to discussions so long as the local airlines meet some specifications, adding that the airline holds the Nigerian market in high esteem.

The company has also introduced the New German wings, regarded as the ‘European answer’ started in 2013 in order to position point to point traffic on a strong and competitive footing with the philosophy “Give customers as much choice as possible to allow them to design their own experience’’. It also offers an innovative product that meets individual customer preferences on price and comfort.
