Afe Babalola University Set To Graduate 103 Students

As Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) prepare for its maiden convocation ceremony, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that eighteen, out of 103 graduating students are living with First Class degrees.

The above statement was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Sidi Osho who further analysed that 59 students are graduating with Second Class Upper Division degrees, while Akomolafe Adesola of the College of Social and Management Sciences is the best graduating student overall.

Furthermore, Prof. Sidi Osho said the school would confer honourary awards on former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Deputy Director-General of UNESCO Dr. Laila Aicha Ben Bakar, Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro and Engr. Tunde Yusuf, a former Managing Director of JKK Nigeria Limited during the convocation.

The school which commenced academic activities in 2009/2010 academic session with three colleges, now has 15 departments with 48 programmes which have been duly accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
