In South Africa, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that four, out of five men accused of raping and killing two toddlers in the town of Dieploot, north of Johannesburg, have been charged to court.
According to sources, the fifth suspect was arrestsed by the police yesterday, as many crowd gathered at the police station, demanding that the suspect be handed over to them. It took the use of rubber bullets to disperse the crowd who had blocked a road and were throwing stones and burning used tyres nto express their displeasure over the action of those suspects.
The bodies of two girls, aged two and three, were found dumped in community toilets on Tuesday morning.
The girls, who were cousins, went missing on Saturday from outside their home while playing with friends.
Meanwhile, President Jacob Zuma has urged people not to take the laws into their own hands. He promised that proper investigation would be carried out by those concerned.
South Africa has one of the highest rates of sexual violence in the world. Police figures show that 64,000 cases were reported last year.
