Nigeria Graduate has been advised by the President of the Ibadan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mike Fowowe to desist from seeking for employment but rather create employment for themselves.

The ICCI president pointed out that Nigeria graduates ignore the simple way to success.

He said, “You do not need to become a graduate before you know what to do. We want graduates to know that they should not always look for jobs but create them for their own benefit and that of others. This is an area where chambers of commerce all over Nigeria can help to ease unemployment rate in Nigeria.

“In Ibadan, the chamber has a level ground for young graduates. We have a training group known as Business Education/Training Course which encourages people with no professional skill in the business they do to be re-trained. The training group is also anchoring a programme that involves primary school pupils. We give them entrepreneurial skill acquisition.”
