4 dead, 14 others injured in auto crash-Ondo state

CEOAFRICA gathered that four persons have been reported dead during the weekend in an auto crash that occurred at Igbara- oke in Ifedore Local government area, of Ondo state injuring fourteen others on Saturday.

According to eyewitness report, there was a collision of an 18-passenger Mazda bus, with plate number: Lagos KSF 706 XF, and a Honda Accord saloon, AA 239 GBH while the Honda bus was trying to overtake a vehicle.

According to the officer in charge of Field Operation of the Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, in the state, Mr. Joseph Ojerinde, 22 persons were in both cars: 14 males, four females and four under-aged children, adding that the dead were adult males.

The bodies have however been deposited at the mortuary of the StateSpecialistHospital, Akure, while those injured were taken to the General Hospitals in Igbara-Oke and Ilara-Mokin for treatment he said.
