CEOAFRICA gathered that about 20 persons were killed, while 10 others were injured when gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members attacked Logomani village in Dikwa Local government area of Borno state yesterday.

According to a source, the attackers who were dressed in military uniforms left with some women and also collected money from some of the truck drivers in the area.

According to an anonymous eyewitness who narrowly escaped death, the attackers shot three persons and slaughtered 14 other people before someone alerted them that soldiers were coming and they fled on their motorcycles into the bush.

 Soldiers were however said to have later pursued the attackers into the forest around Ngamboru Ngala.
