Kenyan Police Arrests Three Tanzanians On Their Way To The Camp of al-Shabaab

It was gathered from Kenya that authorities have arrested three Tanzanians on suspicion they were on their way to join al-Shabaab militant group.

Ali Ramadhan, 22, Musa Daudi, 19, and Shabaan Bakiri Waziri, 21, were apprehended after crossing into the Somalia from Kenya and are now being questioned at the Kiunga police station.

Police said the suspects were from Dar es Salaam, travelled to the Tanzania-Kenya border at Lungalung, then drove to Mombasa, Malindi and Lamu before crossing into Somalia.

CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the Police said the trio revealed they were heading to Kismayo to join what they called “holy war led by al-Shabaab”.
