An Appeal Court sitting at Port Harcourt today declared Tony Nwoye as the authentic PDP Governorship candidate for the Anambra State Governorship election slated for 16th November.
This judgment as declared by Justice Stephen Jonah Adam has in essence thwarted the ambition of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu who emerged as the party’s candidate for the November 16 governorship poll through series of controversial court orders.
The ruling followed the rejection of the appeal filed by Ukachukwu on Tuesday at the Supreme Court seeking to arrest the judgment of the Court of Appeal on the authentic candidate of the party.
However, the Court of Appeal in Port-Harcourt which heard the case upon the ruling of the apex court on Tuesday had fixed today for delivery of judgment on the case.
