GE PREPAIRS GROUND FOR $250M INVESTMENT IN NIGERIA

CEOAFRICA news desk gathered that General Electric (GE), an American multinational conglomerate corporation, is meeting with its local and foreign partners in Abuja, preparatory to kick-starting its $250 million investment in Nigeria.

According to the CEO of GE Nigeria, Lazarus Angbazo, the meeting would ensure a common ground between the foreign and local partners of GE in promoting local content in Nigeria by empowering the locals.

He disclosed that GE had attracted $250 million investment inflow in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital earlier this year, of which the current meeting was to prepare the ground for the commencement while prioritizing local content.

Angbazo also pledge that the GE would also honour Nigeria’s content policy by empowering the locals as regards capacity building, stressing that it is currently being sorted out at the meeting.
