CEOAFRICA.com gathered that members of the Nigerian Army claimed to have killed 74 suspected Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State yesterday.

The army spokesperson, Lt. Mohammed Dole, said the raid involved ground and aerial assault, as identified terrorist camps were destroyed.

He also said the militants wounded two soldiers during the attack.

North-eastern Nigeria is the focus of an insurgency waged by Boko Haram in its bid to create an Islamic state.
