CEOAFRICA gathered the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) of the Nigeria Customs Services (NCS) zone C, Owerri, has made 31 seizures of contraband including 20ft containers of textile materials estimated at N264.745 million.

The Area Controller of the Unit, A.C Victor David Dimka, disclosed this to newsmen at the Abia/Imo Command premises, Owerri, while speaking on the Command’s achievements between September and middle of October.

 Dimka said that within the period, a total of 2,811 cartons of refined vegetable oil and 117 bales of second hand clothes as well as 45 pieces of used tyres were impounded by the men and officers of the unit.
