Former Oyo State governor and leader of the Accord Party,  Senator Rashidi Ladoja said on Monday that Nigerians did not request a National Dialogue that will put them at the mercy of National Assembly.

"People have been calling for it but I don't think this is the type of conference people were yearning for. They were not calling for a dialogue that will be submitted to the National Assembly for ratification. "Until we see the details of the federal government wants to do. All I know is that

Nigerians needs to sit down to discuss the future of our country but how to go about it is not yet determined," he said.

Ladoja who said the new registration was to give new members a sense of belonging and allow them to vie for any position within Accord Party said the thumb party will ensure internal democracy. Ladoja who boasted that the party was now positioned to win all elective positions in the state, fore closed any plan to return to the PDP, saying that his  had not been in speaking terms with the umbrella party in the past one year Instead, the national Accord leader said PDP members were welcome into Accord Party, saying that the people of the state were ready for Accord Party in next general elections.

"The target of Accord is to win all elections in Oyo state and beyond. We will win all elections and you don't need soothsayers to see that the Oyo State people are ready for us. "Registration has been an ongoing exercise but now that a lot of people have joined our party, we felt in other to give then a sense of belonging, we should do confirmation of registration for those who were registered before and allow new people to register. I am in my ward 10 Ibadan North to register, "he said.
