Aftermath of the Kenya’s Westgate mall attack, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that four foreigners have been charged to court with aiding terrorist groups and being in Kenya illegally.

The supposed ethnic Somalis are the first of set of people brought to court in relation to the September siege which claimed over 67 lives.

The accused are Mohammed Ahmed Abdi, Liban Abdullahi, Adnan Ibrahim and Hussein Hassan. They all pleaded not guilty to the charges, which also included obtaining false identification documents.

The court has ordered them to be remanded at a local police station after the prosecution asked for more time for further investigations.

It would be recalled that the Somali militant Islamist group al-Shabab said it carried out the attack.
