Taraba State Government has declared that it would sponsor the education of children left behind by the late Speaker of the state Assembly, Haruna Tsokwa.

CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the above declaration was made by the Actin-Governor of the state, Garba Umar, when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased.

Mr. Umar informed the family that the state government will finance the studies of the four children left by Mr. Tsokwa from primary school to the University.

Furthermore, sources revealed that the State Government also promised to complete the uncompleted house, which the late speaker was building for the family in Takum Local Government.

The governor’s spokesperson, Kefas Sule, added that the burial of the late Speaker will be sponsored by the government adding that tentative burial will take place on November 28, 2013
