Following his spectacular form for the French Lique 1 side, Lille Metropole, Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has received many praises from teammates and opponent players alike.

Last Sunday, Enyeama extends his cleansheets to 10 league games and 12 matches overall when Lille defeated the French moneybags AS Monaco 2-0  courtesy Nolan Roux’s 27th and 72nd minutes strikes.

Enyeama, who was famous for  standing his ground against world best strikers like Lionel Messi at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, did the same when he saved not less than six clear goal-scoring chances from the current deadliest striker, Radamel Falcao, and other star-studded Monaco squad.

Captain Rio Mavuba showered encomium on Enyeama, describing him as the saviour of the club that day.

"We have Jesus in goal," joked Mavuba of the unbeatable Enyeama.

"He was huge (Sunday) tonight. Without Enyeama , I 'm not sure we would have won this game.; we were tough in midfield, impeccable in defence and we took our chances up front. It was perfect," further remarked Mavuba who wondered why Lille allowed him to go on loan to Maccabi Tel Aviv last season.

'He should have been our first choice goalkeeper since two seasons ago,' Mavuba concluded.

One of the Monaco Attackers, who was also denied three times by Enyeama, Emmanuel Reveilere, acknowledged the goalkeeper’s efforts in the match.

'He (Enyeama) was incredible in goal,' he said.

Another Monaco player, Jeremy Toulalan lamented the loss, insisting his side did not deserve to lose the game.

"We deserved at least a draw but we had no success and we came across a great goalkeeper," said Toulalan.

Enyeama has now kept 10 clean sheets in 12 league games and is now closing in on Salvatore Sirigu's 948 minutes unbeaten record last season.
