At least, one person died when series of small blasts were recorded outside a provincial office of the ruling Communist Party in northern China.

CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the blast which occurred at Taiyuan in Shanxi province was allegedly caused by home-made bombs. Over eight people were injured and two cars damaged.

As at press time, no immediate explanation has been given for the incident and nobody claimed to be responsible for the clash.
