A General Secretary of the Evangelical Church Winning All, Rev. Samuel Kunhiyop on Tuesday, described as fake, miracles that do not point its beneficiaries to Jesus.

Kunhiyop declared this during the 2013 ECWA Pastors International Conference with the theme, ‘I want to know Christ’ at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

He stressed the need for Christian leaders to direct their congregation to Jesus, pointing to the fact that people focus more on themselves as if more important than God, noting that if miracles point to a personality or church leader, it is not a biblical miracle and could be referred to as fake.

Speaking in the same lane, Guest Speaker at the conference Rev. Barje Maigadi, emphasized on the need for Christian leaders to be able to influence the society, recalling that Christian Leaders are the salt and light of society.

He however urged that Christian leaders interacting with politicians of high integrity should endeavour to show them what they need to do, reinstating that God has called us to be in the world and not of the world.
