Aftermath of their triumph at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates, World soccer ruling body, FIFA have invited Golden Ball and Silver Boot Awards winner, Kelechi Iheanacho, along with the Golden Glove award winner, Dele Alampasu as guests that will witness the 2013 FIFA Ballon d’Or award to be hosted in Zurich next year.

CEOAFRICA.com sports desk gathered that the duo received the cheering news on their bus ride, along with other members of the team on their bus ride to Abuja from Minna, where they were hosted by the Chief Servant of Niger State, Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu.

The letter sent from the headquarters of FIFA in Zurich, Switzerland by the Head of Special Events and Guest Management, Sandra Marfurt, reads;

” On behalf of FIFA, I would like to congratulate you once again on winning the Adidas Golden Ball Award(Iheanacho); Golden Gloves(Alampasu) at this year’s FIFA’s U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates for the best player of the tournament,”

“We would like to end this successful year with you and your companion as our guests of honour at the annual FIFA Ballon d’Or gala at the Zurich. Kongresshaus on Monday, 13 January 2014.”
